Local SEO & Google Business Profile

Winning the map pack — profile optimization, consistent citations, and a review process that actually runs.

The problem

For most Wyoming businesses, the map pack matters more than the blue links. Someone searching "IT support near me" or "plumber Casper" is ready to call, and the three map results capture most of that.

Local ranking is also unusually mechanical. Profile completeness, category selection, citation consistency, proximity, and review volume do most of the work — which means it's winnable with disciplined execution rather than a large budget.

What's included

  • Google Business Profile claim, verification, and full optimization
  • Category selection, service areas, and attributes
  • NAP consistency audit — name, address, phone identical everywhere
  • Citation building and cleanup across relevant directories
  • Bing Places and Apple Business Connect
  • Review generation process built into your existing workflow
  • Review monitoring and response
  • Location pages on your site with genuinely local content
  • Local rank tracking by city, not national averages

How we work

Measure, fix, build, report

  1. Measure

Audit and baseline first. Without a starting number, nobody can tell whether the work did anything.

  2. Fix

Technical problems first — crawlability, rendering, speed, redirects. Content on a broken site is wasted.

  3. Build

Pages and articles targeting one keyword each, written from real expertise rather than spun.

  4. Report

Monthly, against enquiries rather than impressions. If it isn't producing enquiries, we say so.

Local SEO: common questions

We serve a whole region but only have one office. How does that work?

Google Business Profile supports service areas for exactly this. You list one verified physical location and define the region you serve. What you must not do is create profiles at addresses you don't staff — Google permanently bans profiles for it, and it's the single most common way businesses destroy their local presence.

How important are reviews really?

They're among the strongest local ranking factors, and they affect conversion at least as much as ranking. Ten recent, detailed reviews beat forty old generic ones. The hard part isn't the strategy, it's building the ask into your delivery process so it happens consistently.

Can you help with more than one location?

Yes. Multi-location work needs care around cannibalization between location pages and correct profile-to-page mapping, but it's well-trodden ground.

Start with an audit, not a pitch

A fixed-fee technical audit tells you why your site isn't ranking, with each fix priced. You keep the report whether or not you hire us to implement it.
